I earned degrees in art and advertising from Texas Tech University in 1999 and began my career at the global agency JWT. Originally from Houston, my work took me to St. Louis and Chicago, where I spent years immersed in agency life. After directing numerous photo shoots and collaborating with photographers, I realized I was being drawn toward something more hands-on and creatively instinctive. I eventually left the structured world of a downtown Chicago skyscraper to pursue a path I wasn’t formally trained in—but one that felt completely natural. With little experience and no traditional photography education, I returned to Houston and committed myself to becoming a commercial photographer. Within three years, I was producing still and motion work for clients including Hewlett-Packard, Marriott, InterContinental Hotels, Coors Light, Schindler Elevator, BAE Systems, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Tigé Boats, IKEA, Hilton, Fuddrucker’s, Harry Winston, Bonpoint, Gabanelli Accordions, and more. Today, I’m based in Houston, though my work regularly takes me across the country, photographing portraits, products, interiors, and a wide range of commercial projects for a diverse client base.
