Architectural Interior Specialists, Inc. was originally established in 2000 as McCoy and Jackson, Inc. operating as a general contractor under the name of McCoy Construction. Our first project was a grass roots project to develop, design and construct a multi-level strip center located in Stafford, Texas. Other similar projects followed. However, the original mission of the company was to provide furniture manufacturers and dealers with expert installation of moveable, demountable, and re-configurable wall products as well as build-out of interior spaces with conventional construction. As this aspect of the business grew, it became necessary to change the name to Architectural Interior Specialists (AIS) to indicate to our customers and potential customers this area of specialization.
