The Aeron Chair Has Been Updated

Herman Miller has updated the Aeron Chair, adding ocean-bound plastic to the body. The Aeron Chair, introduced nearly 30 years ago, is still it's inimitable self, catering to the comfort of our bodies thanks the research and design of Don Chadwick and Bill Stumpf.

As part of Herman Miller's continuing commitment to updating research and material innovation, the Aeron Chair is now a more sustainable product. Aeron is composed of more than 50 percent recycled material—recently adding ocean-bound plastic, which is estimated to divert more than 150 metric tons of plastic from the ecosystem every year.
