UH Baseball Clubhouse
The upgraded baseball facility at the University of Houston provides an enhanced experience for fans, offering field views from the second-floor terrace that can't be found in the stands. The exterior features a combination of split-face block and metal panels, with sections of exposed steel frames and ballistic-proof exterior glass panels that can slide open to provide additional views of the field. Designed by Method Architecture with meticulous attention to detail, the facility includes a range of amenities such as a coaches committee suite, a golf simulator, a hall of honor, locker rooms, a nutrition center, a pitching lab, a players lounge, a training room, washrooms, and a weight room. Throughout the design, the vibrant UH colors of red, grey, and white are prominently featured, adding to the sense of pride and identity for the university. Method Architecture collaborated with the project team, which included University of Houston and Lonestar Construction.
